Major Shipping Delays Across the US
Dear Customers,
With record-breaking cold temperatures and storms hitting the country this week, thousands of flights have already been canceled and all major shipping carriers are announcing service disruptions. FedEx, UPS, and USPS have turned off service in Mississippi, meaning that they will not pick up or distribute any orders from our Mississippi farm until weather improves.
Canceled flights affect all shipping carriers, as packages often fly on airplanes to reach their destinations. Due to the unforeseen service disruptions and extreme conditions this week, all orders shipping outside of Florida will be delayed until Monday or Tuesday of next week.
Customers in North Florida may also be affected, since orders are typically routed through the Tennessee hub, which is currently closed due to weather conditions. Sadly we here at Ovipost have no control over how shipping carriers route their orders.
We apologize for the sudden change of plans. Our team was caught off guard by the sweeping carrier service disruptions, which were not announced in advance. We are working as fast as we can to resolve any issues that arise from the shipping challenges this week.
If you have any questions, we are here to help. Thank you for your understanding.
